We are looking for a group of students/programmers to help us in developing our web application. Our mission is to build a commerce platform and browser-based applications that will enable interaction of people all over the world. We will ship using real-time collaboration and enable e-commerce sites, online payment processing, integrated search, Google API and other technologies.
Selection Process
If you are interested, start talking to your friends and build your team. Ideally, your team should comprise of at least two students/programmers, one of them should have a web design skill. Once you have your team ready, send a copy of resume of each your team member to novistiar@gmail.com. Please also include a cover letter explaining why your team should be selected to work on this project. Any prior programming experiences, portfolios and references will be highly considered in the selection process. We will select three teams and ask them to develop a simple web application in 30 days. Each selected team that timely completes the application and meets all requirements will be rewarded Rp. 750,000. The winning team will be selected based on the quality and timing of the delivered application and will be rewarded a Rp. 8,000,000 - Rp. 12,000,000 project to develop our application.

- April 27, 2008: Announcement of winning team and release of system requirements for a simple web application
- May 1, 2008: Project starting date
- May 10 20, 2008: First interview
- May 31, 2008: Deadline for completing a simple web application
- June 1 15, 2008: Second interview
- June 22, 2008: Announcement of the winning team
- July 1, 2008: Project starting date
Requirements
- Applications should be developed in Linux, Apache, mySQL, and PHP (LAMP) environment (you are free to use other programming languages such as Ajax, DHTML, XML, etc.)
- All team members should be able to communicate effectively in English (future projects may involve cross-team collaboration with other web developers in India)
- Your team must have an Internet connection to a web hosting account that we provide (LAMP environment)
- Your team must cover all expenses incurred during the project. We will not pay or reimburse any of your expenses.
